How Sindh Society in Aundh Traces Its Roots to Partition

A long time ago, in 1947, a big change called the Partition happened in India.

Some people in a region called Sindh had to leave their homes because it became dangerous.

Many of them went to a city called Pune, in India.

There, they started a new neighborhood called Sindh Society.

It is also known as Sadhu Vaswani Nagar.

The neighborhood is very big, covering 125 acres.

Today it is one of the largest gated communities in western India.

A writer named Saaz Aggarwal shared the story of how these people built their new home.
