Tamil Nadu Announces Rural Roads, Water Projects, Green Initiatives
Tamil Nadu has announced 31 new projects to improve villages.
Much of the money will be used to repair and build rural roads.

The government will build 53 km of all-weather roads to four remote habitations in Namakkal, Salem, and Tiruppur districts for Rs 82 crore.
Water and climate measures include planting two crore saplings, creating 10,000 ponds, restoring 7,500 km of supply channels, and building 25,000 recharge structures.
