OneTag Lets Indian FASTag Users Switch Issuer Banks
FASTag portability: You can now switch issuer bank without getting a new tag - CNBC TV18 · CNBC TV 18

FASTag is used to pay tolls electronically in India.

Until now, changing the bank connected to a FASTag usually meant getting a new tag.

A new service called OneTag lets people keep the same tag on their vehicle.

They can choose a different issuer bank through the Rajmargyatra app.

The tag’s ID and the vehicle’s registration number will stay the same.

The old bank will handle refunds and unfinished transactions from the previous wallet.

The new bank will provide services for the existing tag.

Toll payments will continue using the same NETC system.
