COAS Gen Dhiraj Seth's Nepal Visit Strengthens Defence Cooperation

Chief of the Army Staff General Dhiraj Seth departed on an official visit to Nepal from August 17 to 19.

Nepal President Ramchandra Paudel will confer the Honorary Rank of General of the Nepali Army on General Seth at an Investiture Ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhawan.
General Seth will address student officers of the Army Command and Staff Course at Shivapuri and attend an Ex-Servicemen Rally at Pokhara.
The Ministry of Defence said the visit underscores deep-rooted historical, cultural and military ties, including the 'Roti Beti Ka Rishta' bond between India and Nepal.
