Himanta Sarma to Visit Kerala Temple After Villagers' Appeal
Himanta Biswa Sarma is the leader, or Chief Minister, of a state in India called Assam.
He said he wants to visit a temple called the Moncombu Sri Bhagavathy Kshetra in Alappuzha, Kerala.
A writer who visited the temple made a video of some villagers there.
The villagers were excited to learn the writer came from Assam, the state led by Sarma.
In the video, they invite Sarma to visit, calling him by the friendly name 'mamaji.'
The villagers also ask for his help, saying rain, bad roads, and a blocked road make life difficult.
They say they have supported the BJP party for a long time and hope Sarma will bring attention to their problems.
Sarma saw the video and replied that he would like to visit soon.
Another leader, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, welcomed Sarma to Kerala and spoke about the BJP's plans for the state.
He said Kerala needs a new way of doing politics, beyond corruption and arguing.
