APSRTC to Run 5,261 Special Buses for Dasara Travel
APSRTC is adding many buses to help people travel during Dasara.
It plans to run 5,261 special services.
The buses will operate from October 16 to 19 before the festival and from October 20 to 25 afterward.
They will connect places across Andhra Pradesh and cities such as Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai.
Some buses are set aside for Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam too.
The largest listed allocation is 1,360 buses for other destinations.
APSRTC says it will arrange more buses if passengers need them.
Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) will operate 5,261 special bus services for Dasara.
Services will run during the pre-festival period from October 16 to 19 and the post-festival period from October 20 to 25.
The buses will serve destinations across Andhra Pradesh and major cities including Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai.
The allocation includes 1,186 services for Hyderabad, 1,053 for Vijayawada, 475 for Bengaluru and 440 for Visakhapatnam.
Another 1,360 services are allocated for other destinations, with additional buses to be made available based on passenger demand.
