Kalyan doctor leaves Mumbai after alleged hospital assault
A doctor in Kalyan said a patient’s son allegedly hit him at a hospital.

He said the incident upset his elderly parents.

The doctor then stopped working for a while.
He switched off his phone and left Mumbai with his family.
He also said police first refused to register a formal complaint.
He later alleged that two men threatened him at the police station.
