Kia India Sales Rise 48% as Seltos, Sonet Lead August

Kia India said its sales rose 48.1% year over year in August.

The Seltos and Sonet were described as the main reasons for the increase.

The Carens Clavis and its electric version also brought demand.

Kia did not publish the number of each model sold.

So, the exact contribution of each model cannot be checked independently.

The report says Seltos and Sonet have usually made up much of Kia’s Indian sales since launch.

Their large ownership base may support continued parts and service availability.

In simple terms, Kia sold many more vehicles, led by two familiar models.
