Adani Power Nears Record High on Raipur Expansion Progress
A brokerage company visited Adani Power’s plant in Raipur.
After the visit, it became more confident about the company’s future.
The existing plant has been working reliably, with availability above 90%.
Its plant load factor, which shows how much of its capacity is being used, has improved since 2021.
Adani Power is also building a larger second phase at the site.
This expansion has two units of 800 megawatts each.
One unit is officially expected to start in January 2028.
Site executives believe it might be ready about six months earlier.
The brokerage also said thermal power remains important for keeping the electricity grid stable.
