NBEMS warns against false NEET PG 2026 test city information
'Exercise Due Caution': NBEMS Warns Against ‘False, Incorrect Or Misleading’ NEET PG 2026 Test City Information On Social Media · freepressjournal.in

NEET PG is a big exam that medical students in India take after finishing their medical degree.

The board that runs this exam, called NBEMS, tells every student which city their test will be held in.

Some people started sharing fake messages on social media about their test city, pretending they were official.

A few of these fake messages showed cities in Pakistan, and one even showed a made-up place called Doomstadt, Latveria, which does not exist.

NBEMS said that spreading false or misleading information is not okay and could get people in trouble with the law.

Earlier, a small technical problem meant some students got the wrong test city by text message, but the board said correct details were later fixed on the student portal.

One doctor, Dr Bisikeshan Panda, asked the board to change his test city because he said he lived far away.

NBEMS explained that his form listed his address in Jajpur, Odisha, and the city he got, Cuttack, is about 84 kilometres from there.

The exam is coming up on August 30, 2026, so the board wants students to trust only official information.
