NEET-PG 2026 Conducted Nationwide Amid Robust Security, Jaipur Retest Set
NEET-PG is an important medical examination for students.
It was held across the country at more than 1,100 centres.
Most candidates were able to complete the test.
Officials used cameras, identity checks and special monitoring teams to help keep the exam fair and safe.
Some senior teachers and officials also watched over the centres.
However, 2,445 candidates in Jaipur could not finish because of a power problem inside two test centres.
The problem was attributed to the examination agency, TCS.
NBEMS said those candidates will get another chance to take the exam.
Their retest is scheduled for September 5 in Jaipur.
NEET-PG 2026 was scheduled for 273,096 candidates at 1,111 centres in 339 cities.
A total of 265,980 candidates appeared, and the examination was completed for approximately 263,535.
Live CCTV, Aadhaar-based authentication, 16 regional command centres and real-time monitoring supported exam security.
The examination could not be completed for 2,445 candidates at two Jaipur centres because of internal power supply issues.
NBEMS will conduct a retest for the affected candidates in Jaipur on September 5 at 3:00 PM.
