Committee Probes Jaipur Power Failure Disrupting NEET PG 2026

A power problem stopped an important medical entrance exam at two centres in Jaipur.

The affected centres were in the Sitapura area.

The exam was being held for more than 2.7 lakh candidates across India.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences has created a three-person committee to find out what went wrong.

Gayatri Rathore is leading the committee.

The group includes officials from Rajasthan, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, and the Central Electricity Authority.

A new exam has been planned for the 2,445 students affected by the failure.

NBEMS said the re-exam is intended to give those students a fair chance.
