NEET-PG 2026 Retest Set For 2,445 Jaipur Candidates
NEET-PG is an important medical entrance examination in India.
It was held for candidates across the country.
Most students were able to finish the test.
However, 2,445 students in Jaipur could not complete it because of a power problem at their examination centres.
They will get another chance to take the test on September 5 at 3 pm.
The exam board, NBEMS, will send them new admit cards and venue details.
The board said it was sorry for the trouble caused.
Officials used cameras and monitoring teams to supervise the examination.
NEET-PG 2026 was held across 1,111 centres in 339 cities for more than 2.73 lakh registered candidates.
Of 2,65,980 candidates who appeared, approximately 2,63,535 completed the examination nationwide.
A power-supply disruption at two iON Digital Zone centres in Sitapura, Jaipur, stopped 2,445 candidates from completing the test.
The affected candidates will retake the examination in Jaipur on September 5 at 3 pm.
NBEMS said revised admit cards and venue instructions will be issued, while the exam was monitored through CCTV, Aadhaar authentication and command centres.
