Five-Day Training on Prison Leadership Begins in Hyderabad
A five-day training programme about leadership in prisons has begun.
Dr Soumya Mishra opened the programme.
It is taking place in Hyderabad.
The State Institute of Correctional Administration is organising it with help from the Bureau of Police Research and Development.
Twenty-three prison officials are taking part.
They come from Andhra Pradesh, Haryana, Jharkhand, Ladakh, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, and Uttar Pradesh.
Dr Mishra said the officers can share experiences and ideas.
She also said they can learn good ways to manage prisons.
