DGP Anand Urges Probationary DSPs to Lead with Integrity
DGP C V Anand spoke to 112 police officers who are still completing their training.
He said good leaders are not defined only by their rank.
They should be brave, honest, hardworking and humble.
They should also work well with others and communicate clearly.
The officers will train at the police academy for one year.
After that, they will spend another 11 months training in districts.
Anand also gave prizes to winners of a Telangana Police sports event.
More than 700 police personnel took part in three racket sports.
DGP C V Anand addressed 112 probationary DSPs at the RBVRR Telangana Police Academy in Hyderabad.
Anand said effective leadership depends on courage, vision, integrity, teamwork, communication, hard work, innovation and humility.
The DSPs will complete one year at the Academy followed by 11 months of district training.
Anand later presented prizes to Cluster-C winners of the 5th Telangana Police Sports and Games Meet-2026.
More than 700 police personnel competed in badminton, lawn tennis and table tennis under the cluster system.
