Tulu Book Launch and Analytical Sessions Honor Pioneering Litterateur
A special programme will be held in Mangaluru to honor Prof. B A Vivek Rai.
It will take place at Tulu Bhavan on August 22.
The programme is called ‘Bennida Panidompa’.
Two of Vivek Rai’s books will be released there.
Speakers will discuss his work in Tulu literature.
They will also talk about his leadership of the Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy.
Other sessions will examine his research and contributions.
Some participants will speak directly with Vivek Rai.
Several leaders and researchers from Tulu, Beary and Konkani literary institutions will attend.
An afternoon programme will be held on August 22 at 2:30 p.m. at Mangaluru’s Tulu Bhavan.
The event, titled ‘Bennida Panidompa’, will review Prof. B A Vivek Rai’s Tulu literary work.
Books titled ‘Tuluva Jala Poli’ and ‘Nalayidd Nalurugu’ will be released at the programme.

Researchers, academy leaders, journalists and academics will participate in sessions and a conversation with Vivek Rai.
