A special event was held to honor K. Anantharam Bangadi, a famous Tulu Yakshagana artist.

Kolthige Narayana Gowda, a veteran artist, talked about how Bangadi made Tulu Yakshagana popular and helped it grow.

He wrote 65 Tulu Yakshagana stories and made the art form successful.

The event was organized by the Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy and Yaksha Pratibha Mangaluru.

After the talks, there was a performance of a Tulu Yakshagana called 'Siri Krishne–Chandrapali,' which the audience liked very much.
