Vintage Mangaluru Photo Exhibition at Tulu Bhavan
A special photo show called Kudla Chitra Darshana is happening at Tulu Bhavan in Mangaluru.
It will show 51 black-and-white photos taken by a famous photographer named Yajna.
These photos show what Mangaluru looked like from 1970 to 2000.
The show will be opened by Kishore Alva at 4 pm.
The photos are on the second floor of Tulu Bhavan.
Yajna's photos show everyday life, big events, and how the city changed over time.
Many important people will be at the opening, like the president of the Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy and the founder of the Moodipu Tulu Nadu Siri Museum.
A permanent exhibition of 51 black-and-white photographs capturing Mangaluru's past from 1970 to 2000 will be unveiled at Tulu Bhavan.
The exhibition, titled Kudla Chitra Darshana, will be inaugurated at 4 pm by Adani Group Executive Director and Chairman Kishore Alva.
The photographs are housed on the second floor of Tulu Bhavan at the S.U. Paniyadi Tulu Nadu Chavadi.
The photos, taken by veteran photojournalist Yajna, document everyday life, public events, political movements, and disappearing urban landscapes.
The event will be attended by notable figures including the president of the Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy and the founder of the Moodipu Tulu Nadu Siri Museum.
