Srujanotsavam literary and cultural programme set for August 23
A group called Malle Teega Sahitya Seva Samstha is organising a big literary and cultural festival called Srujanotsavam.
It will happen on August 23 at the Tagore Library auditorium in Vijayawada.
The festival is meant to encourage poets, writers, and artists.
It is being held around the birthday of Gidugu Venkata Ramamurthy, a famous supporter of spoken Telugu.
There will be dance performances by children, small plays, poetry sessions, and book launches.
People will also sing Ghazals, which are a special kind of song.
Special awards called Gidugu Seva awards will be given during the programme.
Students from Kalakshetra - The Dance Academy will perform starting at 10 in the morning.
Poets who want to take part in the poetry session can call a phone number to join.
