Three Youths Drown in Krishna River at Vijayawada
A group of six young friends from a neighborhood called Krishna Lanka went to swim in a big river on Saturday.
The river was at a place called Sitanagaram Pushkar Ghat, on the other side of the water near Vijayawada.
The water in the river was moving very fast and strong.
Some of the boys swam into a deeper part of the river.
The strong current pulled them away into the water.
People who lived nearby saw them struggling and tried to help.
Unfortunately, three of the boys could not be pulled out in time and drowned.
Police and emergency helpers came and searched the river.
After a long search, they found all three boys' bodies.
The boys were taken to a hospital and later given back to their sad families.
