Drunken Youth Ram Car Into Woman Medical Students, One Critical
Two young men went to a movie theater in a city in India.
They had been drinking alcohol, and a test showed they were drunk.
Because of this, the movie theater would not let them in.
This made the men very angry.
Two women who are training to be doctors were leaving the theater on a small motorcycle.
The angry men followed them in their car and hit their motorcycle three times.
The last time, one of the women fell and the car went over her.
She is now very sick in a hospital.
The police are looking for the two men who ran away.
The men will have to face the police for what they did.
Two allegedly drunken youth rammed their car into a two-wheeler carrying two postgraduate medical students in Rajamahendravaram, Andhra Pradesh.
One student, Priyanka of Hyderabad, a Dermatology PG student at a private medical college, is critical and undergoing treatment in a Hyderabad hospital.
The August 3 incident came to light Thursday after CCTV footage surfaced, which appears to show the youth intentionally hitting the two-wheeler three times.
The accused, Suravaravarapu Dashwant (23) and Andrew Joseph Edward (23), were denied theatre entry after breath analyser tests found them drunk.
Police have registered cases under BNS section 125(b) and other sections, and are searching for the accused who fled the spot.
A passer-by in a car took the injured women to a private hospital after the accident.
