Madhya Pradesh Farmers Rally for GST Relief, Better Crop Prices
Farmers in three parts of Madhya Pradesh held rallies to discuss problems affecting their farms.
They used tractors and bullock carts in the demonstrations.

Khetia farmers submitted a memorandum seeking lower agricultural GST, better crop prices and restrictions on genetically modified seeds.
Around 400 tractors joined the Bhikangaon rally, where farmers raised 42 demands and disrupted a highway for about two hours.
Bhikangaon farmers sought completion of the Binjalwara irrigation project and fourfold compensation for highway-related land acquisition.
Bagh farmers submitted 31 demands, including specified support prices for cotton, maize and soybean and drought-hit status for the tehsil.
