Mysuru-Ajmer Express Special Gains Weekly Regular Status From September 2026
A special train between Mysuru and Ajmer is becoming a regular weekly train.
The new train will start running from Mysuru on September 5, 2026.
It will leave every Saturday morning.
It will reach Ajmer early on Monday morning.
The train will return from Ajmer every Monday evening.
It will reach Mysuru on Wednesday evening.
The route includes many cities in several Indian states.
The train will have 18 coaches with different seating and sleeping options.
The Railway Board has approved regularising the Mysuru-Ajmer-Mysuru Express Special as the weekly Mysuru-Ajmer Weekly Express.
The Mysuru-bound service will begin from Mysuru on September 5, 2026, departing at 8 am every Saturday.
The return service will begin from Ajmer on September 7, 2026, departing at 6:50 pm every Monday.
The train will connect cities and towns across Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Rajasthan, including Pune, Surat, Vadodara and Chittaurgarh.
The 18-coach train will include AC First Class, AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper, General Second Class and Divyangjan compartments.
