Jabalpur–Coimbatore Weekly Superfast Train Gets Regular Railway Service
A train between Jabalpur and Coimbatore will become a regular weekly service.
Earlier, it operated as a special train.
The train from Jabalpur will run every Friday night.
The return train from Coimbatore will run every Monday afternoon.
The service will begin in October 2026.
It will stop at several stations along the route.
The train will have 24 coaches with different seating and sleeping options.
Passengers can begin booking tickets in August 2026.
The Railway Board has regularised the Jabalpur–Coimbatore weekly special trains as Weekly Superfast Express services.
Train 20160 will depart Jabalpur at 11:50 PM every Friday from October 23, 2026.
The return service, Train 20159, will leave Coimbatore at 5:05 PM every Monday from October 26, 2026.
The 24-coach trains will include AC, sleeper, general and Divyangjan accommodation.
Advance reservations will open at 8:00 AM on August 27, 2026, from the Southern Railway end.
