The legislative assemblies of Uttar Pradesh in India and Yamanashi in Japan signed an agreement to work together.

The agreement is called a Memorandum of Understanding, or MoU.

Japanese representatives visited the Uttar Pradesh Assembly in Lucknow.

Speaker Satish Mahana explained the House’s work and history to them.

The two sides also discussed Uttar Pradesh’s culture, including Kashi and the Buddhist Circuit.
