Yamanashi Governor Leads Japanese Delegation in Uttar Pradesh Tourism Visit
A group from Japan’s Yamanashi Prefecture is visiting Uttar Pradesh to learn about tourism.
The group is led by Governor Kotaro Nagasaki.
It first visited Agra and the Taj Mahal.
Local performers welcomed the visitors with Braj dances and music.
The governor said the Taj Mahal looked even more detailed when seen up close.
The visitors also praised the smooth travel arrangements and hospitality.
In Lucknow, they will meet tourism businesses and see an exhibition.
They will discuss ways India and Japan can work together on tourism and cultural exchange.
A Yamanashi Prefecture delegation led by Governor Kotaro Nagasaki visited Agra and the Taj Mahal on August 20.
The visitors received a Braj welcome featuring Peacock Dance and Braj Rasiya performances.
Uttar Pradesh officials hosted the delegation and highlighted the state’s cultural and tourism offerings.
A Lucknow programme on August 21 will include a roundtable with more than 50 tourism and hospitality representatives.
The discussions will cover Buddhist and wellness tourism, cultural exchange, hospitality cooperation and new visitor experiences.
