Srisailam's Kolanubharathi Temple to host maiden Shakambari Utsavam

A temple is getting ready to celebrate a brand-new festival called the Shakambari Utsavam.

The celebration is for Goddess Saraswati, who is the goddess of knowledge.

The goddess will be dressed up in a special way using lots of leafy vegetables, fresh fruits, and garden produce.

The festival will start very early in the morning on Friday, August 7.

Visitors can come to pray at the temple in the morning and again in the afternoon.
