MP NEET UG Counselling Round 1 Merit List Released

Many students in India take a big test called NEET UG because they want to become doctors or dentists when they grow up.

In the state of Madhya Pradesh, the government has a special office called the Directorate of Medical Education, or DME.

This office helps decide which student gets a seat in which medical or dental college.

The DME just released the state merit list, which shows the rank of every student who registered for counselling.

Now the students can choose which colleges they like best.

This is called choice filling, and it started on August 15, 2026.

Students must lock in their choices by August 18 at 11:59 PM.

After that, the DME will match students to colleges based on their rank and choices on August 20.

Students who get a seat must go to their college between August 21 and 27 to show their documents and finish joining.
