NCP(SP) MPs Meet PM Modi, Raise Maharashtra Development Issues
Some important people who help run India went to visit the Prime Minister.
They are members of Parliament from a party called NCP(SP), whose senior leader is Sharad Pawar, and they come from the big state of Maharashtra.
The group was led by Supriya Sule, and Dr Amol Kolhe was there too.
They wanted to talk about problems in their areas, like farms, water, and building projects.
Because Parliament's meetings were not going smoothly, they wanted to bring these issues straight to the Prime Minister.

The MPs demanded Bharat Ratna for Mahatma Jyotirao Phule, Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule, Lokshahir Annabhau Sathe and Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj.
They also sought naming Navi Mumbai International Airport after late leader D B Patil and faster progress on projects like the Nashik-Pune high-speed rail and Kalyan Murbad railway line.
