Daily Passenger Train Approved Between Itarsi and Madan Mahal

Some very big trains run in India, and the people who run them decided to start a new train that will go every day between two places called Itarsi and Madan Mahal.

Madan Mahal is in a city called Jabalpur.

The train leaves Itarsi in the morning at 11:40 and reaches Madan Mahal in the afternoon at 4:45.

In the evening, another train comes back the other way, leaving at 5:50 and reaching Itarsi at 10:55.

The trip is about 242 kilometres long and takes around 5 hours.

Along the way, the train stops at many small towns so people there can get on and off.

This helps people go to work, school, hospital, business and religious places.

The train is made for people who travel short distances and do not have reserved seats.

That makes it easier and cheaper for many families to travel.
