Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to intensify rescue and evacuation efforts for Indians stranded or unreachable in Nepal.
Kharge asked Union Home Minister Amit Shah to deploy National Disaster Response Force teams wherever needed for rescue, evacuation and relief operations.
He urged India to provide Nepal with food, medicines, shelter and other humanitarian assistance in coordination with its government.
