SIR voter enumeration deadline fixed for August 10, no extension

There is a big list of people who are allowed to vote, called the voter list.

The government is checking and updating this list in a place called Ranga Reddy district.

People who are eligible to vote must fill out a special form so their names can be added to the list.

The last day to hand in that form is August 10.

The district leader, called the Collector, said there will be no more extra time after that date.

He wants everyone to fill the form carefully and double-check it before submitting.

If there are mistakes, voters should talk to a local election officer to get them fixed.

The Election Commission wants the voter list to be correct and fair.

Some people are finding it hard to get the papers they need to fill the form.

Others, like one man from Rajendranagar, say their names have disappeared from an old voter list from 2002, even though they had filled a form back then.

So voters are being told to hurry up and submit their forms before the deadline.
