Telangana Congress BLAs working well during electoral rolls revision

When grown-ups want to vote, their names need to be on a big list called the voter list.

In Telangana, a state in India, officials are updating this list right now with a special process called the Special Intensive Revision.

The Congress party has helpers called Booth Level Agents who help people get registered.

Minister Azharuddin said these helpers are doing a good job, but he wants even more people to sign up to vote.

Officials handed forms to every single voter on the list.

So far, they have typed 77 out of every 100 forms into their computers.

People have until August 10 to hand in their forms, and the draft list will come out on August 17.

The final voting list is scheduled to be finished on October 19.
