Delhi tribunal awards Rs 32.74 lakh to dead biker's family

A man named Mukesh Kumar was riding his motorcycle home one night when a big truck hit him from behind.

He was hurt very badly, and doctors at the hospital said he could not be saved.

His family, including his wife, children, and mother, went to a special accident court in Delhi.

The judge, Mr. Manish Sharma, listened to everyone's story.

A person who saw the accident said the truck driver was driving carelessly and caused the crash.

The truck driver and the truck owner said it was not their fault, and the insurance company said the man had been drinking.

But the judge believed the eyewitness and said the truck driver was to blame.

The judge ordered the insurance company to give the family more than 32 lakh rupees to help them.

The money also grows with 9 percent interest every year, so the family is taken care of.
