Minister outlines plans to expand Telangana district connectivity
Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao spoke at a public event in Kothagudem.
The event remembered the integration of Hyderabad State with India on September 17.

He said better roads and railway lines could help the district develop.
One plan would connect Bhadrachalam by railway through a line from Pandurangapuram toward Malkangiri.

The government also wants to improve important roads between Kothagudem, Illendu, and Hyderabad.
Officials are considering an airport and transport along the Godavari River as well.

He spoke while observing Praja Palana Day and hoisting the national flag at the Integrated District Offices Complex in Kothagudem.
The government is pursuing railway connectivity to Bhadrachalam through a proposed Pandurangapuram–Malkangiri line.
Plans include widening the Amaravati–Jagdalpur National Highway through Kothagudem and Bhadrachalam to four lanes.
Authorities are also examining improved roads, an airport, and Godavari river transportation for Bhadradri Kothagudem district.
