Bhopal: Chief Secretary Ashok Barnwal Asks Senior Officers To Visit Distant Districts Under Jan Vishwas Campaign · freepressjournal.in

Madhya Pradesh’s top government officer, Ashok Barnwal, held a meeting in Bhopal.

He told senior officers to visit faraway districts, not only places close to their hometowns.

The officers must listen to people and try to solve their complaints.

They were also told to finish pending CM Helpline complaints on time.

Officials said more than 80% of those complaints had been closed.

The CM Helpline receives about 55,000 calls and has around 15,000 complaints each day.

More than 8 lakh complaints under the Lok Sewa Guarantee campaign have been solved.

Barnwal also asked officers to respond to central government letters within 15 days and prepare information for upcoming government meetings.
