Madhya Pradesh launches six-month Jan Vishwas Abhiyan from Chhindwara

In the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, the government is starting a special programme called Jan Vishwas Abhiyan.

The programme aims to build people's trust in the government.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will start the campaign on Friday from the city of Chhindwara.

The programme will last for six months.

During this time, ministers and government officers will visit villages and towns every Friday.

They will talk to people and listen to their problems and complaints.

They will also check how government services like schools, health centres and fair price shops are working.

People can meet officials directly and get their complaints solved, sometimes on the spot.

Officials will also review welfare schemes that help families get health cards and housing.

The idea is that by going out into the field, the government can better serve the people and stay accountable to them.
