AP Government Sanctions Rs 717.91 Crore First Samagra Shiksha Instalment

The Andhra Pradesh government, a state government in India, has decided to give a big sum of money to help schools.

The money is for a program called Samagra Shiksha, which supports elementary education, high school education and the training of teachers.

The first payment is Rs 717.91 crore, which is a very large amount.

A government officer named Kona Sasidhar signed an official document called GO Rt No 132 on Wednesday to approve the money.

The funds come from the state's budget for the year 2026-27.

The money will be used for school activities that were approved by a committee called the Project Approval Board.

Usually the government must wait to spend money, but it made an exception so the work can start quickly.

School officials have been asked to make sure the money is used for the approved programs.

This helps schools, students and teachers plan for the new financial year.
