Sonam Raghuvanshi Surrenders, Sent to Jail in Murder Case

Sonam Raghuvanshi is accused of killing her husband, Raja Raghuvanshi.

She was arrested in June 2025 and was supposed to get bail, but the Supreme Court said the bail was wrong.

The court told her to surrender in a court in Shillong, which she did on July 23, 2025.

She was put in jail.

The court also said the trial must finish in six months, or she could ask for bail again.

Her brother thanked the Meghalaya government for helping the family feel justice is coming.
