Raghuvanshi Brothers Jailed in Indore Liquor Case, Guard Duped
Police in Indore went on a night check of hotels and restaurants.
At a dhaba called Raja Bhoj Dhaba, they found people drinking alcohol.
The dhaba did not have the papers needed to serve alcohol.
So police arrested five people, including two brothers named Vipin and Sachin Raghuvanshi.
The arrested people were sent to jail for safety.
Police say they will keep checking other hotels and dhabas too.
In another story, a forest guard named Pragya Pawar lost almost one lakh rupees.
A bad app called 'EMAIL WEB' on her phone helped someone take her money.
She told the police and froze her bank account.
Now the police are looking into how it happened.
Five people, including Raja Raghuvanshi's brothers Vipin and Sachin Raghuvanshi, were sent to jail after police found people drinking at Raja Bhoj Dhaba in Rau, Indore.
The arrests happened on Friday night during a routine inspection drive targeting hotels, dhabas and lodges in the Rau area.
Police said the dhaba served alcohol without a licence and had not submitted tenant and employee details; in-charge Rajpal Singh Rathore warned of strict action against violators.
Forest guard Pragya Pawar lost Rs 99,996 through six unauthorised UPI transactions on Aug 2 after her phone was reportedly hacked via a suspicious 'EMAIL WEB' app.
Pawar froze her account via the helpline, reported the case on the national cybercrime portal (1930), and Kanadiya police registered a case.
