Goa DEMU Services Cancelled During 26-Day Railway Works
South Western Railway is changing some train services for construction work.
Two trains between Vasco da Gama and Kulem will not run for 26 days.
The cancellations last from September 9 to October 4, 2026.
Workers need the railway lines clear to replace sleepers and build additional track at Sankval Yard.
Another train from KSR Bengaluru to Anantapur will take a different route from September 11.
It will not stop at three stations near Narayanapuram.
The Railway Protection Force also rescued 33 children during August.

Vasco da Gama-Kulem DEMU Special trains will be cancelled from September 9 to October 4, 2026.
The cancellations affect Train Nos. 56964 and 56963 in both directions.

The KSR Bengaluru-Anantapur MEMU will be diverted from September 11 and skip three stations.
In August, the Railway Protection Force rescued 33 children and returned belongings worth Rs 66.41 lakh.
