Telangana Sets April Deadline for Godavari Pushkaralu Works
Telangana is preparing for a large religious event called Godavari Pushkaralu-2027.
The government wants the main preparation work finished by April next year.
It plans to organise the event in a way similar to the Kumbh Mela.
Officials are studying what happened during the previous event so problems are not repeated.
They will plan facilities based on how many pilgrims may visit each location.
New bathing areas, roads, transport facilities and temple improvements are part of the preparations.
Special officers and technology-based control centres will help different departments work together.
Officials must also prepare for rain, find enough engineers and build a sewage treatment plant at Bhadrachalam.
Officials have been asked to complete Godavari Pushkaralu-2027 works by April next year.
