Mumbai Launches Addiction-Free Pledge Campaign With Governor’s Support

A campaign to encourage people to stay away from addiction began in Mumbai on August 19.

The event took place at Patkar Hall in Churchgate.

Maharashtra Governor Jishnu Dev Varma attended the program.

He asked everyone to promise to live an addiction-free life.

About 1,000 college students and other people took part.

Members of the Brahma Kumaris helped organize the event.

Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha also encouraged people to avoid addiction.

At the end, the governor and other guests flagged off a special Addiction-Free Van.
