Fadnavis Launches Navi Mumbai Campus Campaign Against Student Drug Abuse

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis launched Navi Mumbai Police’s Campus Connect drug-awareness campaign at D.Y. Patil University in Nerul.
Nearly 250 colleges have responded, with anti-narcotics committees planned for every school and college.
A jointly established De-addiction and Rehabilitation Centre will offer medical treatment, psychiatric assistance, counselling and 10 residential beds.
The Integrated Command and Control Centre currently combines feeds from 4,011 CCTV cameras across Navi Mumbai, Panvel and Taloja MIDC.
Police reported 2,919 arrests and the seizure of 1,027 kilograms of narcotics worth Rs 142 crore over the past three years.
