Women Leaders Tie Rakhis to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister
Raksha Bandhan is a festival celebrating the bond between brothers and sisters.
On Friday, several women leaders and Brahma Kumaris members visited Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
They tied Rakhis to him at his official residence in Amaravati.
Naidu gave them greetings for the festival.
S. Savitha and Galla Madhavi also tied a Rakhi to Nara Lokesh.
Lokesh said he feels supported by millions of sisters even though he has no biological sister.
He also spoke about respecting women and keeping them safe.
Congress leader Y.S. Sharmila Reddy sent festival wishes to people in the Telugu states.
