Madhya Pradesh Celebrates 80th Independence Day; CM Yadav Hoists Tricolour

On August 15, India celebrates a very special day called Independence Day.

In 2026, the country is celebrating its 80th Independence Day.

On this day, everyone flies the Indian flag, which is called the Tricolour.

In the state of Madhya Pradesh, a big celebration was held at a place called Lal Parade Ground in Bhopal.

The Chief Minister, Mohan Yadav, raised the flag and watched the parade.

He said happy Independence Day to all the people of the state.

In another city, Indore, a minister named Tulsi Silawat also raised the flag.

The Chief Minister gave a speech that people could watch live.

Singers and dancers put on cultural shows during the celebration.

Some officers and workers were given special honours for doing excellent work.
