Police in Penumuru arrested a man after his father was allegedly killed.
The accused was identified as S Jokesh Reddy, also known as Balaji.
Police said the incident happened on Wednesday night in Manikyarayunipalli village.
They allege that Jokesh went to his parents’ home carrying a knife.

Police said Jokesh then attacked his father and fled.
Officers arrested him the next day near Sai Nagar Colony.
