Puligundu Tourism Destination Development Planned in Three Phases
Officials want to develop Puligundu into a larger tourist destination.
The plan will happen in three stages.
First, roads, steps, lights and safety equipment will be repaired.

The Chittoor district administration has proposed a three-phase plan to develop Puligundu as an integrated tourism destination.
The first phase will improve roads, steps, railings, lighting, drinking water, toilets, parking and visitor safety.
The second phase will add trekking trails, regulated rock climbing, possible zipline facilities and eco-tourism attractions.
The final phase proposes upgraded accommodation, spiritual tourism facilities and stronger long-term management.
Local youth and women’s self-help groups could benefit through guiding services, food outlets and handicraft businesses.
