Man Arrested for Allegedly Killing Friend After Argument in Vizianagaram

Police in Vizianagaram arrested A. Pydiraju after his friend died during a fight.

The two men had gone near Paradhi village and consumed alcohol.

Police said they argued about a small issue.

Santhosh Kumar allegedly insulted Pydiraju’s family members during the argument.

Pydiraju allegedly hit Santhosh on the head with a stick.

Santhosh died from the injury, according to police.

Police said Pydiraju took Santhosh’s phone, removed its SIM card, and threw the phone into a pond.

He allegedly tried to make the death look like a road accident.

A villager’s video reportedly helped police identify and arrest him.
