Maharashtra’s food safety agency inspected several places that prepare or sell food.

These included railway catering kitchens, a dairy business and food establishments at ISKCON in Juhu.

The agency said it found serious or alleged violations of food safety rules.

Three ISKCON establishments had their licenses suspended.

A milk business in Kharghar also had its license suspended.

The agency said 20 other well-known food establishments across several divisions were affected.

Four more businesses were given notices telling them to improve.

The action was part of an enforcement drive to check food safety.
